The Best Concealer Ever? - Urban Decay Naked Skin Review

If I was asked what one makeup product I could not live without, concealer would be at the top of that list. I think I have tried every concealer on the market (disclaimer this might be an exaggeration) and I have found ones I have liked and that have done the job to an extent, but after using some I have still been self-conscious about my dark under eyes or my bad skin breakouts and it felt like I was never going to find the perfect product to hide them.

Fleur de Force Cosmetics - Review

In the last 7 years, social media and video sharing sites like YouTube have become huge and big business for a lot of people. I started watching YouTube for more than just cat videos about 6 years ago. I was searching for tips on dying my hair from blonde to brown and I stumbled upon the "beauty community"; young women sat in their bedrooms chatting makeup, skin care, beauty tips, fashion and much more. I was totally hooked! I was so excited to find people interested in all the same things as me. I started subscribing to anyone I found interesting to watch, and over the last 6 years some have come and gone from my subscriptions box but one person that has stood the test of time is Fleur de Force

Budget Beauty at it's Best - Makeup Revolution Blush Pallet

It has been a while since I have done a nice, old fashioned product review, I have loads of these coming up in the next few weeks so keep an eye out. The last one I did was for
Nivea - Men Shave Balm (If that sounds weird, read the post it will all make sense).
I am sure when I was a teenager really cheap budget makeup brands were few and far between; I think we had maybe two brands, Collections 2000 and Seventeen. These days budget make up is all over the place, there is much more variety and most of it is of really good quality.

Can This Men's Shaving Product Improve Your Beauty Routine?

This tip is something I saw first on Jaclyn Hills YouTube channel and I had to try it straight away. I was lucky as Thom actually uses this product for its normal purpose, so didn't have to go out and buy it to see if it works.

Discovering KIKO Cosmetics

KIKO was a brand of makeup that I was aware of and had seen in a few YouTube videos, but I had never been bothered to try. There are lots of cheaper makeup brands on the high street these days and in recent years I have just gravitated to the more high-end side of makeup, as to an extent I do think you get what you pay for, until I tried KIKO.

Must have Summer Beauty Essentials

Hi everyone, so sticking to my blogging schedule has been a little difficult, I have been trying to become more organised but I think baby steps are in order as I am the most unorganised person ever. The #nebloggers chat on Wednesday has helped me so much, Samantha from North East Family Fun is so amazing for blog advice so I am extra motivated now. If you are a blogger in the North East I totally recommend getting involved in the Twitter chats.

Bobbie Brown - A Perfect Eye Trio

I have never actually owned any Bobbie Brown products, I'm not sure why, there was just other brands I was more interested in and it isn't the cheapest of brands out there. Now that I am on the wrong side of 30 (cries) I need to pay more attention to my skin especial my under eye area.

9 Amazing Mac Lipstick Colours

Mac has to be hands down my favourite lipstick brand of all time; I don't think I will ever stop buying them, much to the detriment of my bank balance. That being said I think Mac is actually really reasonably priced for a good quality lipstick.
So I have accumulated a few and thought it would be nice to do a little Mac lipstick collection post, especially if you want inspiration on new shades to try.

Space.NK.apothecary - The First Edition Beauty Box

Over the last few years, beauty boxes have become all the rage, I have subscribed to plenty myself from Glossy Box to My Little Box and much more. I have never really stuck to having them every month, I usually keep it going for a few months but then when I have to start raining in my spending these are always the first things to get the chop.
If you don't know what a beauty box is it is usually a subscription service where every month you receive a little box full of beauty products. These usually travel size with some companies putting in the odd full sized products, you are also always guaranteed the contents is worth more than the price you paid. Everything is a surprise and you don't know what you are getting until you open it up, this can be really exciting but, unfortunately, can also be disappointing at times.

I actually only discovered Space.NK apothecary a few weeks ago. I had heard of them before but didn't realise there was one in Newcastle where I live, this was an exciting moment. I am officially addicted to the place (when I have spare money to splurge!).

Urban Decay - Naked Flushed Pallette in Native Review

This is only the second Urban Decay product I have owned, I jumped on the Naked Palette band waggon really late and I am yet to purchase the Naked 2 and Naked 3 eye shadow palette. I am in love with the original one and it was fantastic for when I did my own make up as bridesmaid for both of my best friends. So I thought why not try something else from Urban Decay and, do you know what, thats exactly what I did!
